Seven Mayer’s paracarmine stained whole mounts prepared for the current study. Three voucher specimens (acc. no. NHMUK 2013.5.13.1-3) are deposited in the parasite collection of the Parasites and Vectors Section, The Natural History Museum (NHM), London. A further two specimens (USNPC acc. no. 106952.00) are deposited in the United States National Parasite Collection (USNPC), Beltsville, MD, USA; and two additional voucher specimens (acc. no. AHC 35684) are deposited in the Australian Helminthological Collection (AHC) of The South Australian Museum (SAMA), North Terrace, Adelaide.
